If part of your job fits into one of the listed exceptions, then your employer is allowed to operate that portion of the business, but the other parts must remain closed.

work necessary to support emergency repairs. This could include a dispatch/call service or work performed by an administrative assistant to take calls from customers.
work supporting the construction industry, such as wiring or plumbing new builds.
However, new appointments or scheduled routine maintenance on equipment as part of normal operations is not permitted on Remembrance Day.
